About

Hi, my name’s Hannah and I am the founder of Sunny Kids Club. I have been working in early childhood for over 8 years.

My passion for children’s learning stems from a deep belief in the transformative power of early education. Witnessing the incredible capacity for growth and curiosity in young minds. I am dedicated to providing an enriching environment where children can explore, discover and develop a love for learning. I’m passionate about children’s learning through play because it’s how they naturally discover the world around them. Play isn’t just fun; it’s the best teacher. It sparks their curiosity, encourages creativity, and helps them figure things out in a way that feels like an exciting new adventure rather than a lesson. Plus, there’s something magical about seeing a child’s eyes light up when they’re having fun and learning at the same time.

Why do we choose sensory play?

First of all sensory play is a lot of fun. Sensory play is paramount for the holistic development of young children, fostering their cognitive, emotional and physical growth. Through hands-on experiences that engage their sense (touch, sight, sound, smell and taste) children explore and comprehend the world around them. These activities not only enhance fine and gross motor skills but also social skills as children collaborate and communicate during shared experiences. The best kind of learning happens whilst children play!

About the Sessions

Sessions for 2025 will be on Thursday mornings 9:30-10:30am

We have a brand new venue for 2025 with a beautiful outside space for us to use.
Dunsborough Community Farm. Just off Yungarra Drive.

There will also be an opportunity to attend Pop Up Sessions anywhere from Margaret River to Busselton. Keep an eye on the socials for details of these.

This is a parent-supervised session so children must not be left alone or unsupervised at any point during the session especially if engaging in water-based play or with small loose parts. Parents are fully encouraged to get involved with their little ones.

At the beginning of the session, we will come together for some songs and a story and then children and parents are invited to go and explore the activities set up for that day. At the end of the session, we will come together to do some songs and dancing, there will be an opportunity for parachute play or musical instruments.

There will also be tea and coffee offered and a fruit platter for morning tea for the children.
